I’m in love with the Cape Town area. I can’t believe we have less than two weeks here before heading to Rwanda. There is still so much I want to see and do before we leave! Even re-do some of the things we’ve done! I find our calendar filling up so fast with adventures with the wonderful people we have met here.

Overall, we’ve enjoyed our time here and have found that it’s a city with a lot to offer: great climate, lots of outdoor activities, Western amenities, and quality of life at prices that are very reasonable compared to the US. It’s the quirks that really give this city some character, though!

African Penguins can only be found in Southern Africa and there are only 2 penguin colonies on the mainland of South Africa. The drive along the coast was breathtaking and just the breath of fresh air we needed after five days of city living. A break from the buildings, city noises, and smells(!) was welcomed.
